Projectdog Unveils New Projectdoc.com Platform and AWS Infrastructure

A new website and expanded cloud foundation support today's procurement needs and Projectdog's next phase of growth.

Projectdog technology upgrade: new platform and AWS infrastructure

NEWBURYPORT, Massachusetts — Projectdog, Inc. announces a major technology upgrade bringing together its new Projectdoc.com website and server infrastructure hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). The investment provides a foundation for serving current customers, expanding the platform and supporting future growth in online procurement and electronic bidding.

The public-domain cutover took place on September 6, 2026, when the AWS-hosted platform began serving Projectdoc.com directly after the soft migration to the new application.

Projectdoc.com brings project owners, administrators, contractors and bidders into a shared online environment for finding opportunities, distributing project information, responding to procurement requirements and reviewing results. Projectdog.com, the company's legacy address, redirects visitors to Projectdoc.com.

A new foundation for current and future expansion

The move to AWS supports Projectdog's ongoing investment in the infrastructure behind its services. Cloud hosting provides a foundation for adapting server capacity as requirements evolve and for delivering continued application improvements as the company grows.

For customers, the upgrade connects the new website with the systems supporting project documents, qualifications and electronic bid workflows. It is part of a broader commitment to developing the platform around the practical needs of public organizations, project teams and the businesses responding to their procurements.

Procurement workflows in one online environment

The platform supports document-hosting projects as well as procurements collecting electronic responses. Owners and administrators configure the modules, schedules, requirements and participant access relevant to each project. Bidders use the project record to review documents, addenda, available questions and answers, deadlines and submission instructions.

Qualification surveys organize questions and supporting material. Secondary and trade bidding and primary or general contractor bidding support the applicable response process. Depending on the configured project, bidders can upload requested files, enter values on screen or use an OCR Bid Form PDF whose recognized values are reviewed before final submission.

Where configured, Sub-Bid for GC Use connects eligible official secondary bids to the general bidding process. Received-submission screens, results displays and record exports support the subsequent review and documentation steps.

A detailed Projectdoc.com product tour gives readers a closer look at the platform through feature explanations, workflow steps and application screenshots. Separate pages explain how owners, administrators and bidders use each part of the procurement process.
